Driver’s License Exchange - this is a procedure that allows a foreign national who holds a driver’s license issued outside the European Union to obtain a Polish driving document that authorizes them to operate motor vehicles. The exchange is possible if the person is legally residing in Poland and holds a valid driver’s license. A Polish driver’s license permits legal driving throughout the entire European Union and significantly facilitates daily life in Poland - both personally and professionally.
Driver’s License Exchange:

▪️ Possible after legal residence in Poland and possession of a valid license
▪️ Processing time – usually from 1 to 3 months
Requirements for exchange:
▪️ Legal residence in Poland
▪️ License issued in accordance with the Vienna or Geneva Convention
▪️ Certified translation of the license into Polish
▪️ Submission of an application at the office appropriate for the place of registration or residence
